I love Lady Gaga. When I'm at the gym, there's no one better.
Bad Romance was my first love.
Then I saw her Grammy performance and decided that she was actually talented and not just some studio creature. Check out her piano work with Elton John at 4 minutes.
A couple of days ago, I saw her new video with Beyonce and it was jaw dropping. One of her leather jackets in the jail scene is a throw back to Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan. Fun, fun, fun.
The reviews are awesome, too: Irish Times, Huff Post, Phil Inquirer, MTV,

I like Gaga more than I ever liked Madonna… Maybe I’m getting old? (Okay, there’s no maybe about that.)
The creatures at the beginning of the “Bad Romance” video are a direct nod to the Smashing Pumpkins video of “Tonight Tonight.” (There are similar creatures in the 1902 film that it draws on, “A Trip to the Moon,” but they don’t look like Gaga’s creatures.)

There is a definite nod to Vogue in there as well. And Beyonce is one smart ass lady doing this with Gaga. Smart and gorgeous.

Am I the only one for whom the S and M references went from a provocative exploration of power, gender, and sex to simply repetitive and boring? She needs some new themes.
