Made it through the holidays.
I hosted a Christmas Eve party for 22 with 14 types of fish. The kids got their stupid Wii and Moon shoes and fuzzy crocs and all sorts of other garbage. The cards went out. The in-laws have clean sheets on their bed and the cobwebs were vacuumed off the ceiling.
This morning, I tied my hair in a pony tail and hit the sales at the mall. It was the best hour that I've had in ages. Total "me time." Tonight we're going to the Upper West Side for the cousins dinner. Instead of giving presents, my brother, sister, cousins, spouses and I go out for a nice dinner in the city. An adult-only dinner is much better than a stupid mug.
We made in through the holidays in one piece. I have to tuck away the serving platters and fancy plates that are stacked up on the dining room table and set up a paper grading station. I'm determined to be done by Sunday. After a week of Martha Stewart-ness, I am very anxious to return to work and blogging. Blogging is going to resume pronto.
Hope you all survived and prospered and were surrounded by family this week. Thanks all for your good wishes.

Yay blogging!
