I’m hearing about three hour waits on CNN. Not good, people. How many people have walked away, discouraged? Three hour waits are the new "hanging chad."
UPDATE: Someone from VA just called into CNN and reported 5 to 7 hours wait.

I am hearing the opposite for states that have early voting. I waited over an hour (in NC) to vote early last week, and today (at least after morning rush) it dropped to a few minutes.

Where in VA? Here in Fairfax, we never had waits of more than an hour, and most of the day the wait was about 5 minutes. Someone said that 40 percent of the precinct had voted absentee, and total turnout was 70 percent.

My wife went to our polling place at noon and reported NO WAIT AT ALL, and that the Obama person told her that a third of our precinct’s voters had voted early. I voted three weeks ago and it took 20 minutes.
