So, it looks like Hillary has it in the bag in PA. If you’re voting there and have good stories, give us the dirt.

Leave saving the world to the men? I don't think so.

I’m not a fan of the new voting machines because they make me feel like I’m using the self check-out at the grocery store. This time, I didn’t accidentally start the audio ballot for the blind.
It was crowded despite the fact that I went early. However, there was nobody shilling outside the polling place and there were only two signs (Clinton and a local candidate). Every other time I’ve voted, people are trying to hand me leaflets on the way in and there are multiple signs for each candidate. After all the phone calls, the mailers, the flyers, the TV and radio ads, it was sort of a let down. I expected more effort since my neighborhood is very heavily Democratic. It is also a mix of the old-school Pittsburgh Democrats that Clinton is supposed to get and the younger professionals who are more likely to vote for Obama.

Anyone else have fun with the NYTimes slider “challenge for Clinton.” From it, I think I conclude that anything less than 62% of the vote (the amount she needs to win in the remaining primaries, assuming the remaining super-delegates break 50/50)is a net down for Clinton (especially given the reports of money shortages). Is that a likely outcome? I really don’t know.
Intriguingly, as well, a complete loss would be less than 37% percent of the vote (I’m guessing pretty unlikely). I define this based on needing 99% of the superdelegates if she doesn’t pass that level in the remaining 10 contests.

I must have been really early to vote this or the touts got-up late. I walked by the polling place this evening (the little one likes a walk in the evening) and there was a forest of signs and at least three people handing out Clinton literature and one for Obama. Plus one guy who was either trying to hit on a Clinton volunteer or just a really bad volunteer. Plus about four other people that I couldn’t figure out what they were doing. Probably just chatting as it is perfect weather.

No good stories, but lots of campy news coverage. Our ABC affiliate sent its sports reporter (!) to Philadelphia to cover Hillary’s victory party. And he keeps chirping out the pundit’s 10% line like it’s gospel.
Love. it.
