Leave saving the world to the men? I don't think so.

We’re number one! We’re number one! (along with Virginia and Utah), so I have no idea what that means (a ranking on which Virginia, Utah, and Washington fall in the same group).
Seems like they’re judging some form of state government efficiency. It’ll be worth figuring out what we’re supposed to be doing well. As I’ve stated, I feel under-served in WA (as an affluent progressive, who likes things like swimming pools, libraries, universities, schools, parks, and museums), compared to other states I’ve lived in.

Hmm. So New Hampshire, the “Live Free or Die” state hits the bottom. Figures. Seems like the people who designed that government figured out the whole “strangle the baby in its crib”-style of fiscal management long before some Republicans did.
