As this blogger is too swamped for more regular posts, I appreciate that commenters are hijacking comment threads. Keep the blog fire alive until I can come back in a few weeks. A few enterprising students at my college have found this blog (hi, Jodi). The school newspaper is going to print that I think Jon Stewart is cute and that I watch American Idol. My students already know this, so no surprises. I’m also sure that call me Professor Potty-mouth after class, so this blog will continue as normal — kid stories, TV, foul language, and occasionally serious business. It may just be harder to keep this blog underground.

Hijack!? Hijack!! no way. hijack is grafting on Ohio Was Stolen From John Kerry, or maybe Duke Lacrosse. We didn’t hijack. We gave the conversation, maybe, a gentle nudge. Yah, gentle nudge, that’s it.
