Squirt guns and nerf guns. But he doesn’t need them much because those reindeer are scary.

At least BB guns and 0.22’s. Knives and slingshots too. Plenty of chemical warfare (itching and sneezing joke powders, and chemistry sets). Plus lots of comm gear to call base for reinforcements.
Don’t mess with Santa. He may look fat and slow, but he’s armed and dangerous.

Oh man. My nephew is five and weapons are all he wants to talk about. Every since an older kid showed him his knight collection all he wants to do is “swording.” From Scooby-Doo, he picked up the notion of kidnapping, which he loves. My sister and her partner are trying to figure out how much to redirect this energy and how much to just let it play out.
