  1. I read all the blogs on my blogroll. And then some.
I think I spend about an hour every day reading blogs.
And about ten minutes writing a blog post.
I only allow myself one post a day because I could easily get carried away and write dozens ….

  2. I spend more time than I care to admit reading blogs—11d included. The majority of blogs I read are personal blogs that focus on the harrowing experiences of being a parent. It was comforting to know when I first had Julia that my feelings of being utterly overwhelmed were not abnormal and that the strange things that were happening to me during pregnancy were in fact supposed to be going on. I like blogs that make me laugh, sometimes they make me cry, but overall they reassure me that my personal life experiences are not so rare. It’s like reading a great book–most of the protagonists I root for are those that I can find some personal connection to or who make some startling revelation about life. Same goes for the blogs I read.

  3. I read 100 blogs a day, divided into “academic blogs,” parent blogs, and tech blogs (mostly related to my work). Most of the blogs I read have a personal touch to them. I spend about 2 hours reading blogs.

  4. I read a tremendous amount of blogs. I don’t know how many. I like political blogs, crafty/art blogs, parent blogs and then just every day diary-type blogs, like mine. I probably spend two or more hours a day, although never all at once reading blogs.

  5. I read about 10 different blogs (see my blogroll), about every 2-3 days I’ll sit down for 2 hours and look through them all. Actually there’s one I try to look at more frequently. But as a general rule.

  6. I spend about an hour every day reading blogs. Most of the ones I read are for fun (yours, pharyngula, both of my brothers’ blogs, yarn harlot, people on my LJ flist, my friend mitch’s blog) but I do read thehousingbubble for work-related purposes. I spend about thirty minutes a day (on average) writing a blog post or thinking about writing a blog post for the day. Some days I don’t get anything posted — this is not usually because nothing happened that day. Frequently it’s because I’m too tired or too overwhelmed to come up with something coherent.

  7. Oh, I meant to reply to this. Like everybody else, I read almost all of the blogs on my blogroll. Highlights include Tyler Cowen, Dan Drezner, Jane Galt, Matt Yglesias (less regularly with his move), Greg Djerejian, the Volokh Conspiracy, and Brad DeLong. And yours, of course!
I also follow the blogs of almost everybody I’ve met. And since I know that bloggers like comments and since I spew out comments left and right, I try to comment at least semi-regularly on all of them.
But overall, I have over forty blogs in my RSS reader (although about four or five of them update less than weekly), and I also check my LJ friends page (flist? that’s sounds kinda cool). I spend snippets of time here and there, and it’s kinda hard to estimate the overall time, but I would guess an average of about one to two hours or so every day.
