This is Bubble Mountain in Acadian National Park, Maine. We went for a short hike and nibbled on some snacks by Jordan Pond. It’s a very popular place to picnic. As we’re sharing a ham sandwich and popcorn, Ian suddenly jumps up and points at the mountain. He shouts, “That mountain looks like a BUTT! And the clouds are the farts!”

An older boy, like myself, would probably come up with a different analogy for those twin peaks.

I feel almost certain that 8 or 9 hundred years ago there were a bunch of native kids sitting around snickering over exactly the same thing.
