I Whip My Hair Back and Forth

In the midst of a rather moderate mid-life crisis, Steve went and bought himself a convertible. Here’s what it’s like to ride in the back with the top down. Yay.

  1. This is hilarious. And, a reason why I’ve never understood the point of convertibles.

You need to get a driving scarf (and, maybe a fitted picnic hamper).

  2. When we were little, we used to go for weekend trips with my parents occasionally. We didn’t own a car, so we rented one each time. We children thought a convertible would be the coolest thing imaginable, and so we induced my father to rent one. Of course, we hated it: we had to sit in the back, the wind made us very uncomfortable, and we ended up spending the whole time crouched down on the floor. (This was before seatbelts were really a thing.)

Except for the no-seatbelt part, I feel like this would make a superb children’s book.

Or maybe an episode of Peppa Pig.
