We’re in the midst of ANOTHER DAMN SNOW STORM here in the New Jersey. Steve is even home today, which is a minor miracle. The plows haven’t been down our block for hours, so there’s a foot of snow in the street.
There was some debate about whether it was better to shovel every hour or wait until the whole business was through before going out. Of course, we opted for the shovel-later plan. We’ve given the kids a 20-minute warning before they are kicked out of the house with Steve to clear out the cars and the driveway. I’m rather pleased that I won’t be stuck with the shoveling alone today.
It’s mid-afternoon, and we’ve already cooked oatmeal, bacon, cinnamon toast and cream cheese, crepes with strawberries and fresh whipped cream, and homemade biscuits. I think once we emerge from our igloos, we shall be twenty pounds heavier.
Steve is logged into the office and negotiating contracts as usual. The boys are jumping on virtual motorcycles and conquering ancient cities. I’ve been fiddling with Photoshop making it do things it was not designed to do.
I have one quick blog post in me, before I return to eating, photoshopping, and nesting with my boys.
